Off-Duty LAPD Officer Involved in Fatal Shooting in Ontario

Late Night Altercation Leads to Tragedy

A fatal shooting involving an off-duty Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officer and another man has cast a shadow over Ontario on Friday. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on North Euclid Avenue near West 6th Street and immediately sparked an investigation.

According to multiple 911 calls, two injured men were found at the scene. One, the off-duty LAPD officer, was rushed to a local hospital in stable condition. The extent of his injuries remains undisclosed.

Victim Pronounced Dead at the Scene

Tragically, the second man, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are working diligently to determine what led to the altercation, but witnesses have suggested that a minor traffic or road rage incident may have been the catalyst.

Vehicles Under Investigation, No Arrests Made

As part of the ongoing investigation, police are examining two vehicles parked nearby. However, it is unclear whether the shooting occurred inside a vehicle or not. Ontario Police have confirmed that no arrests have been made at this time.
