A chilling tragedy has occurred in Riverside County, leaving a community in mourning. On June 8th, at approximately 10 p.m., a gruesome incident unfolded, claiming the life of a woman and sending shockwaves through the Good Hope community.

A Heartbreaking Discovery

Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department (RCSD) responded to a distressing call about a gunshot victim in an unincorporated area of Good Hope. Upon arrival, they discovered the lifeless body of a 56-year-old woman, later identified as Kimberly Dunlap, a resident of the community. Despite valiant attempts to save her life, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Suspect Identified and Apprehended

Investigators from RCSD’s Centeral Homicide Unit swiftly launched a thorough investigation. Within a day, they identified a male suspect and Good Hope resident named William Dunlap. With meticulous effort, they apprehended Dunlap and charged him with murder.
