Sam Brown Shatters Fundraising Record in Nevada Senate Race

Former U.S. Army officer and Republican Senate candidate Sam Brown has made history in his campaign to win the crucial swing state of Nevada. Brown raised an astonishing .85 million in the fourth quarter of 2023, surpassing any challenger to an incumbent in Nevada’s history. Combined with his third quarter fundraising, Brown’s campaign brought in a total of .04 million, also a record for that time frame.

Brown’s fundraising success outpaced that of incumbent Democrat Sen. Jacky Rosen, who Brown would likely face in the general election if he wins the Republican primary in June. In 2018, Rosen raised less money than Brown when she challenged former Republican Sen. Dean Heller.

Brown expressed his gratitude to the thousands of Americans who have contributed to his campaign, emphasizing the critical importance of this race for the future of Nevada. He criticized Rosen and President Joe Biden for their policies, which he believes have made the American Dream unattainable for most Nevadans and left the borders vulnerable to drugs and violence.

Brown’s campaign manager, Faith Jones, stated that Nevadans understand the stakes of this election and are rallying behind Brown’s People’s Agenda. They believe that victory lies in delivering the solutions needed to recover and thrive, addressing issues such as unemployment, energy costs, and education.

This is not Brown’s first Senate campaign. In 2022, he ran as a first-time candidate but lost in the Republican primary to Adam Laxalt. However, this time around, Brown has the support of the National Republican Senatorial Committee and is considered the front-runner for the nomination. He will face competition from other candidates, including former Trump Ambassador Jeff Gunter, veteran Air Force pilot Tony Grady, and former state Assemblyman Jim Marchant.
