Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns – An Alliance of Allies

In an unpredictable twist, Cody Rhodes’ arrival at the ring was a spectacle like no other. Alongside his wife, Brandi, he emerged with a new entrance video and the thunderous rhythm of a live drum line. But that was merely a prelude to the adrenaline-fueled battle that unfolded.

Rhodes, known as “The American Nightmare,” unleashed his signature brutality, putting Reigns through the announce table. However, despite several finishing moves, including the Cross Rhodes, Reigns refused to yield, taunting Rhodes incessantly.

Reigns, not one to be outdone, retaliated with a devastating spear, nearly securing a victory. But just as hope dwindled for Rhodes, he received an unexpected lifeline. Jimmy Uso, Reigns’ cousin, intervened with a superkick, only to be met by a retaliatory superkick from Jey Uso.

In a chaotic melee, the Uso brothers disappeared up the entrance ramp. Jey Uso then stunned the crowd by spearing Jimmy off the stage through a table below, leaving Reigns in utter disbelief.

Reigns’ frustration turned towards the referee, prompting Rhodes to seize an advantage. However, that advantage was short-lived as Solo Sikoa, Reigns’ enforcer, disrupted the match with a Samoan Spike and a combined spear with Reigns.

Just when Rhodes seemed defeated, the WWE’s own Avengers assembled.

Legends Unite

In a thrilling moment, John Cena emerged to face Sikoa, avenging his defeat at Crown Jewel. As Cena executed Attitude Adjustments on Reigns and Sikoa, The Rock made his grand entrance, setting the stage for a climactic showdown. It had been 11 years since Cena had triumphed over The Rock at WrestleMania 29.

Suddenly, the atmosphere shifted. The bell tolled, the lights dimmed, and a figure emerged from the darkness: The Undertaker, ready to restore order.

‘Taker’s presence sent ripples of excitement through the stadium. He chokeslammed The Rock, and as the lights flickered back on, the ring was clear of chaos, leaving Rhodes and Reigns alone.

The Undisputed Universal Champion

With renewed determination, Rhodes countered a spear and executed a thunderous Cross Rhodes. This time, Rhodes pinned Reigns, securing the 1-2-3 victory and the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship.

An eruption of cheers filled the arena as Rhodes’ defied all odds. In a heartwarming moment, he was joined by Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, LA Knight, and others, embracing the future of WWE.

Rhodes expressed his gratitude to WWE Legends Bruce Pritchard and Paul Levesque, acknowledged Nick Khan’s leadership, and welcomed a new era for the company.
