Ex-Husband of Rep. Lauren Boebert Arrested in Drunken Bar Brawl – Shocking Details Revealed

Lauren Boebert’s Ex-Husband Arrested After Drunken Altercation at Colorado Bar

A night out at a trendy bar in Silt, Colorado took a dramatic turn for Jayson Boebert, the ex-husband of Rep. Lauren Boebert, as he wound up in jail following an alleged drunken breakdown. The incident occurred at Miner’s Claim Restaurant on Main Street, where Jayson initially called 911 to report “domestic violence abuse” before abruptly hanging up on the dispatcher.

Concerned by the call, the dispatcher immediately contacted the congresswoman, who overheard Jayson claiming that she had punched him in the face. The police were promptly dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, law enforcement found no visible marks or injuries on Jayson’s face. However, they described his behavior as “highly intoxicated” and “uncooperative.” In contrast, Rep. Boebert fully cooperated with the officers.

The restaurant staff had already asked Jayson to leave, but he refused to comply. The police then requested him to depart as well, but he continued to ignore their instructions. Eventually, law enforcement had to physically remove him from the premises.

Unfortunately, there is no surveillance footage of the incident, and no witnesses have come forward with statements or cellphone videos.

False Claims and Arrest Warrant

Jayson Boebert later recanted his claim of being punched in the face. Following a thorough investigation, the police determined that the allegations against Rep. Lauren Boebert were unfounded.

Silt Police Lt. Matt Gronbeck issued a statement, declaring, “The investigation into Rep. Lauren Boebert is closed.”

Despite this, an arrest warrant was issued for Jayson on charges of obstructing a peace officer, trespassing, and disorderly conduct. He was subsequently booked and released at the Garfield County jail.

Rep. Boebert’s Response

Reacting to the incident, Rep. Lauren Boebert expressed her disappointment and stated, “This is a sad situation for all that keeps escalating and another reason I’m moving.” She vehemently denied punching Jayson and clarified that no one was arrested. The congresswoman plans to consult with her lawyer regarding the false claims made against her and explore her legal options.

It’s worth noting that Boebert filed for divorce from Jayson last year, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
