The Battle for 2024: A Band of Conservative Warriors

In a momentous move, an organization championing the “America First” agenda has gathered a diverse alliance of conservative groups. Their noble mission: to rally against “the radical left’s extreme positions and agenda” ahead of the highly anticipated 2024 presidential election.

America First Works, closely aligned with the America First Policy Institute (AFPI), spearheads this coalition. In an “historic” gathering at the legendary Willard Hotel in the heart of the nation’s capital, over 50 organizations, represented by more than 100 individuals, pledged their commitment to work in unity.

“It’s the first time since Reagan’s presidency that all these groups have come together,” declared Ashley Hayek, executive director of America First Works and chief engagement officer at America First Policy Institute. “We’re determined to coordinate our efforts, from early voting to ballot harvesting (where legal), to mobilization, election integrity, and everything in between.”

A Pledge for United Victory

The pledge, titled “United We Win,” rallies dozens of conservative groups with diverse objectives. Yet, they share a common vision: to reclaim “our nation’s narrative,” to “win the argument” ahead of the presidential election, and to “save America.”

Signatories of the pledge vowed to “work together as never before.” They pledge to “harness our collective resources, wisdom, and energy to educate like never before.” They will expand their coalition “with unwavering dedication” and champion “conservative solutions that will steer our country back toward prosperity, security, and freedom.”

Diversity in Unity

Celebrating the coalition’s diversity, Hayek emphasized that this was the “first step” toward a successful election year.

“We have a wide range of groups,” Hayek explained. “From AMAC, a conservative alternative to AARP for senior citizens, to Faith and Freedom Coalition, which mobilizes faith-based voters nationwide, and Bienvenido, which focuses on Hispanic outreach. This gathering is crucial for us to align our efforts, develop winning messaging, and counter the radical left’s agenda.”

Uniting to Get Out the Vote

Hayek also highlighted the importance of early voting initiatives, noting that unexpected circumstances can hinder people from casting their ballots on Election Day. She stressed the need to “leave no stone unturned, no resource untapped, and no citizen unengaged” to ensure maximum voter turnout.

“Conservatives should embrace mail-in voting options in states where permitted,” Hayek advised. “We need to modernize our tactics, work together, and turn out the vote.”

A Plan for the Future

Hayek also discussed the AFPI’s “Pathway to 2025” initiative, a “five-pillar plan” designed to prepare for the post-election period. Led by former New York GOP Rep. Lee Zeldin, the plan focuses on “messaging and data, unifying the movement, project 19 (targeted counties), ballot harvesting and voter mobilization, and day one of a new administration.”

“We’re not just talking about the White House, but also the impact we can make at the state and local levels, down to the school board,” Hayek added.

Preparing for the Future

When asked about the plan’s implications for replacing individuals or groups in government, Hayek explained that a team of over 600 volunteers has been working diligently to identify best practices in each department.

“This will enable us to hit the ground running on day one of a new administration,” Hayek said.

Outsmarted, Not Outspent

Recognizing the financial advantages of their opponents, Hayek remained confident that “the America First movement will not be outsmarted.”

“We’re focused, dedicated to collaborating, and determined to make a difference,” Hayek concluded. “Together, we will reclaim our conservative values and secure a brighter future for America.”
