The incident unfolded on March 19, 2023, at approximately 8:50 p.m. Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) responded to the 5800 block of South Hoover Street, where they encountered a grim sight. Medina-Garcia lay lifeless on the road, a gunshot wound piercing her body.
Suspect Apprehended, Charges Filed
