Breaking News: A deadly shooting outside a downtown Los Angeles bar on Wednesday night has left one man dead and another injured.
Tragic Night outside Escondite
The incident unfolded at around 11:45 p.m. in front of The Escondite, a popular establishment on Boyd Street. According to Lieutenant Boyle of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), two men were involved in an altercation with two other individuals outside the bar.
As the confrontation escalated, one of the suspects drew a handgun and opened fire, striking both victims.
One Victim Succumbs to Wounds
One of the victims, a 47-year-old Hispanic man, was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries. The second victim, also a Hispanic man of unknown age, was transported to the same hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Suspects Remain at Large
Police are still searching for the suspects, who fled the scene. There is no further information available about their identities or the vehicle they might have been driving.
