On May 7, a 24-year-old man, Robert Michael Lockwood-Stinson, allegedly engaged in a heated argument with the female victim that turned into a horrific physical assault.

The brutal assault left the woman with severe injuries, as Lockwood-Stinson mercilessly struck her. To further terrorize her, he stole her phone, wallet, and cell phone.

Escape and Pursuit

Driven by desperation, the victim managed to escape the scene. However, Lockwood-Stinson’s relentless pursuit continued. At around 9 a.m. the same day, he located the woman and violently forced her into his vehicle.

The nightmare persisted as Lockwood-Stinson drove the victim to her residence, threatening to harm her further if she resisted. When he eventually left, the victim bravely reported the harrowing ordeal to the Chino Hills Police Station.

Swift Apprehension

Swift action by investigators led to an arrest warrant being issued for Lockwood-Stinson. On May 8, he was apprehended near his residence and taken into custody at the West Valley Detention Center.
