Stunned and Robbed: Armed Trio Targets Retail Stores in LA

Los Angeles, CA – LA News Center reports on two separate retail robberies that have occurred in South Central Los Angeles, involving three suspects, one of whom was armed.

Incidents and Suspect Information

On April 5th, at 2:30 PM, a man and two women entered a retail shop on South Main Street. They began selecting merchandise, but when they attempted to leave without paying, an employee confronted them. The male suspect, identified as 35-year-old Antwaun Pollard, threatened store employees with a stun gun and fled with the stolen goods. Pollard has since been arrested, but the two female suspects are still at large.

Five days later, on April 10th, at around 2:10 PM, two female suspects entered another retail shop on South Central Avenue. Similar to the previous incident, they attempted to leave without paying for merchandise and one of them brandished a stun gun before fleeing. Again, the suspects escaped the scene.

Suspect Descriptions and Call for Information

The outstanding suspects are described as Black women, both short in stature and between 25 and 30 years old. Authorities believe that there may be additional victims and have released Pollard’s picture to locate potential witnesses.
