According to lip-reading expert Jeremy Freeman, Gomez seemed to be saying, “He didn’t want a picture with me. He said no.” This led to rumors that Gomez had asked for a photo with actor Timothée Chalamet and his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, who allegedly declined.
However, Gomez took to Instagram to clarify the situation. In a comment on E News’ post about the story, she revealed that the conversation was actually about two of her friends who had hooked up. “Not that that’s anyone’s business,” she added. It seems the gossip was unrelated to Chalamet and Jenner.
Despite the initial speculation, it appears there is no bad blood between Gomez and Chalamet. When asked by a TMZ photographer if everything was cool between them, Chalamet replied, “of course.”
