Houston McDonald’s Murder: Suspect Identified, Still on the Loose

Houston, TX – The Houston Police Department has released the identity of the suspect wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of local attorney Jeffrey Limmer at a McDonald’s last weekend.

Suspect on the Run

Anthony Martin Landry, 57, is facing murder charges for the May 4 shooting that claimed the life of 46-year-old Limmer. Despite being identified on Wednesday, Landry remains at large as of early Friday morning.

Houston police are actively searching for Landry and have released his mugshot to the public in hopes of apprehending him.

Tragic Incident

The shooting occurred at approximately 6 p.m. on May 4 at the McDonald’s located at 8147 Katy Freeway. According to police, an angry customer confronted Limmer, who attempted to intervene. The suspect, later identified as Landry, allegedly retrieved a gun from his car and shot Limmer multiple times.

Responding officers pronounced Limmer dead at the scene. His family released a statement expressing relief at the suspect’s identification and hope for his swift apprehension.

About the Victim

Limmer was an associate at the Houston office of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP and a member of the General Liability Practice. His colleagues and family members described him as a dedicated attorney who made a significant contribution to his community.

Ongoing Investigation

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and Houston police are urging the public to come forward with any information that could lead to Landry’s arrest. A reward of up to ,000 is being offered for information leading to his apprehension.
