Presidential Debate Standoff: Trump Camp Appeals for Earlier, More Frequent Events
Los Angeles, CA – The Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) is steadfastly adhering to its predetermined debate schedule, despite requests from former President Trump’s campaign for earlier and more frequent events.

The first presidential debate remains slated for September 16 at Texas State University. The second and third debates are scheduled for October 1 in Virginia and October 9 in Utah, respectively. A vice presidential debate is also set for September 25 in Pennsylvania.

In light of the commission’s decision, the Trump campaign has indicated its willingness to explore alternative arrangements. “We are committed to making this happen with or without the Presidential Debate Commission,” declared LaCivita and Wiles.
