“I got a phone call that morning… that something had happened to Noah and that he was dead… Eight hours later, I detoured around Noah’s body. I don’t know if they had picked him up off the ground yet or not. They were still delaying traffic at that time,” Rawlings said.

Noah, a 19-year-old high school graduate who aspired to join the military, was last seen at a party with friends. However, the family said they do not know how Noah ended up on the highway several miles from the party venue.
Rawlings ruled out the possibility of Noah walking home from the party, as it was a significant distance from where he lived. She also mentioned rumors that Noah had a habit of leaving parties when upset, but these claims have not been substantiated.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol initially ruled out a hit-and-run as Noah’s injuries were inconsistent with those caused by a vehicle. However, authorities have since stated that Noah’s death is not being investigated as a murder.
