The LA News Center reports that Russia’s Foreign Ministry has advised its citizens to avoid traveling to the Middle East due to heightened tensions. In particular, the ministry urges against visiting Israel, Lebanon, and the Palestinian territories unless absolutely necessary.

“The situation in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone and the Blue Line area between Lebanon and Israel remains unstable,” said spokesperson Maria Zakharova.

She urged citizens to stay informed by following updates from the ministry and embassies.
