Brutal Attack Leaves Bus Driver Fighting for Life

Unprovoked and Vicious Assault

Around 8:30 p.m. on April 13th, the victim, a seasoned bus driver operating his assigned route, halted his vehicle at the intersection of East 119th Street and Willmington Avenue. Moments later, a male suspect boarded the bus and inexplicably began yelling at the driver.

Without warning, the suspect lashed out, delivering a forceful punch to the driver’s face. The attack didn’t end there; the suspect then proceeded to stab the driver, escalating the violence to a dangerous level.

Suspect Flees, Victim Identified

The victim, whose identity and condition remain undisclosed, was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the assailant fled the scene, running northbound on Wilmington Avenue. LAPD has classified the suspect’s actions as attempted murder and is actively investigating the case.
