A heartbreaking incident has left a man deceased in the aftermath of a motorized scooter accident. According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the incident occurred early Tuesday morning in West Los Angeles.
Collision and Fatal Injuries
The scooter driver was riding along a residential street when they collided with a parked car near Beloit and Missouri avenues. The impact from the crash caused significant injuries to the rider.
In a desperate attempt to seek assistance, the injured man stumbled towards a nearby apartment building’s parking garage. However, his strength failed him, and he collapsed within its walls.
Discovery and Medical Response
The man’s body was discovered later that same morning by an unidentified individual who promptly alerted authorities. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded swiftly and rendered medical aid to the victim, but it was too late.
Sadly, the man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by LAPD officials.
