Monday may still linger in relative coolness, with highs hovering around the upper 60s. But from Tuesday, the mercury will steadily climb, bringing relief from the recent chill. Throughout the rest of the week and into the following weekend, Southern California will bask in the warmth of the low-to-mid 70s, with some areas even witnessing readings in the 80s.

March alone saw a series of menacing wet weather patterns, plunging temperatures below seasonal norms. The National Weather Service reported downtown Los Angeles receiving a staggering 13 inches of rain during this relentless period.
The excessive precipitation led to a dangerous build-up of water in the soil, triggering mudslides and debris flows that wreaked havoc on homes throughout the county.
