The Burglaries
The crime spree unfolded on December 29, 2023, when Godinez and an unknown group of suspects targeted a pharmacy in Simi Valley in the wee hours of the morning. They managed to gain entry into the premises but were thwarted in their attempt to pilfer any pharmaceutical supplies due to robust interior security measures.
Undeterred, the group moved on to Thousand Oaks, where they targeted two pharmacies. Again, their efforts were met with frustration as they failed to obtain any pharmaceutical products from either establishment.

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office launched a thorough investigation into the burglaries, meticulously gathering evidence and following leads. Their diligent efforts ultimately led to the identification of Godinez as one of the suspects involved in the heists.
Arrest and Arraignment
On Tuesday, a swift operation by the Sheriff’s Office resulted in the arrest of Godinez at his residence in Los Angeles County. He was subsequently transported to Ventura County and booked into the Pre-Trial Detention Facility.
