Studio City, April 15, 2024 – The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) is mourning the tragic loss of one of their own, a recruit firefighter who perished while rendering aid at a car accident.

As dawn broke at 5:00 AM, the young firefighter, whose identity has not been released pending family notification, rushed to the scene of a collision on the northbound 101 Freeway near Vineland Avenue.
