Rattlesnake Surprise: Unexpected Guest in Inland Empire Home

An Inland Empire family’s day took an unexpected turn when they encountered an unwelcome guest in their home on Wednesday.

A four-foot-long Red diamond rattlesnake slithered its way into a residence in La Cresta, a neighborhood near Murrieta. A family discovered the snake’s presence, sending chills down their spines. The unwelcome guest made its way from the home’s living room to a game room, where it was discovered crawling up into a toy bin.

Rattlesnake Removal: Ensuring Safety

The family quickly contacted Ryan Jessup, an expert from Ryan’s Rattlesnake Rescue. Upon arriving at the property, Jessup discovered the snake slithering into a toy bin within the game room. Acting swiftly, he safely removed the venomous reptile from the home.

Seasonal Increase in Rattlesnake Activity

“As temperatures rise with the arrival of spring, rattlesnakes become more active,” Jessup explained to LA News Center. “This is their mating season, so increased activity is expected.
