Tragedy in D.C.: 2 Children Shot in Fatal Shooting

In a heart-wrenching incident, a barrage of gunfire erupted outside a Washington D.C. apartment complex, leaving six people wounded, including two young boys.

Among the victims were a 9-year-old boy and a 12-year-old boy, who were caught in the deadly crossfire. Police responded to the scene and found one man dead, along with a woman, the 9-year-old boy, and two other men with gunshot wounds.

Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela Smith, speaking at a press conference, said that authorities believe two shooters were involved and are actively searching for them. A surveillance image has been released showing a possible getaway car, a light blue Toyota sedan with UNK tags.
