In a heart-stopping incident that left a community shaken, a vehicle launched airborne, crashing into the garage of a Southern California home in the early morning hours.
Around 6:30 a.m. on April 4, home surveillance footage captured the harrowing scene in Jurupa Valley. The footage shows a vehicle hurtling into the frame, hitting the curb with a deafening thud before flying several feet into the air.
As the car soars over two white pickup trucks parked in the driveway, it violently smashes through the garage door and lands on the front end of the second truck. The impact causes a plume of smoke and debris to fill the air.
Incredibly, the driver was able to extricate themselves from the wreckage before first responders arrived. They sustained minor to moderate injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment and evaluation.
The vehicle, garage door, and second truck sustained significant damage. The extent of the structural damage to the home remains unknown.
