Justin Hartley, the charming and beloved patriarch of “This Is Us,” has embarked on a thrilling new adventure that demands a complete departure from his quintessential TV character. In the riveting action-drama “Tracker,” Hartley portrays Colter Shaw, a rugged survivalist who fearlessly navigates treacherous landscapes to locate missing individuals and claim hefty rewards.
The transition from Pearson to Shaw required Hartley to consciously disconnect from his previous role to avoid any character crossover. “I was adamant that Kevin’s personality would not seep into my interpretation of Colter,” he shared with LA News Center. “I created a comparative chart between the two characters, and it became crystal clear that they shared no similarities.”
