Around 7:20 a.m. on a fateful Saturday, tragedy struck at the intersection of Chico Avenue and Garvey Avenue. A light-colored sedan plowed into the unsuspecting pedestrian who was lawfully crossing the street in a crosswalk. Horrifically, the driver fled the scene, leaving the victim to perish from their severe injuries.

As of now, the identity of the deceased victim remains undisclosed. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Temple Station is determined to find the person responsible for this heartless act.
